We are asking for contributions in order to dramatically upgrade the zendo at Myoshinji that has served us so well for the past eight years. We plan to:

• Replace the carpeting with a high-quality hardwood floor
• Finish the wall between the kitchen and zendo
• More permanently and elegantly enclose and separate the zendo

The estimated cost for this project is $3600, and a donor has offered to match funds raised for this project until the end of the summer (up to $1800), so we are asking you to be as generous as possible now, when your gift will have the greatest impact. Any additional funds raised will be put toward a new roof for Myoshinji, a significant project which we expect to be necessary in 2013.
